Many refugee artists have faced the challenge of adapting to the German, particularly Berlin’s, art scene since the moment of a full-scale invasion and subsequent relocation. The experience of migration is a multifaceted event, with changes not only in cultural but also in structural and administrative context. Building a wall and delineating a boundary in between the author and the creation. You are Ukrainian, but outside your own country, you are in Germany, yet you do not identify yourself as German.
The main goal of the project ‘In Betweens’ is to form a resilient community of Ukrainian artists and to offer them a safe space allowing to share their experiences, from artistic ones to those of migration, develop their creative ideas, implement new projects, and establish an open communication.
For the duration of the project, a series of network meetings will be held. The artists will have an opportunity to work with various media, such as drawing, collage, text, performative art, music on site.

Оголошуємо про серію творчих зустрічей для українців. Проект під назвою «На межі» буде проводитись в roam space. Учасникам буде надана можливість обмінятися творчими ідеями, думками та досвідом. Дати всіх зустріч зазначені нижче!
У багатьох українських митців з моменту повномасштабного вторгнення і подальшої релокації постала проблема адаптації на німецький, зокрема берлінській, арт-сцені. Сам досвід міграції – багатостороння в свої складності подія, зміна контексту, не тільки культурного, а ще й структурно-адміністративного – вибудовує стіну та окреслює межу поміж митцем та мистецтвом. Ти і українець, але поза межами своєї країни, ти і в Німеччині, але точно не ідентифікуєшся як німець.
Головна мета проекту – сформувати стійку спільноту українських митців та створити безпечний простір, який надасть змогу поділитися своїм досвідом, від художнього до досвіду міграції, розвинути свої ідеї, реалізувати нові проекти та побудувати відкриту комунікацію.
В рамках проекту буде організовано серію зустрічей, де митці матимуть можливість працювати в різних медіа, такими як малюнок, коллаж, текст, перформативне мистецтво та музика.
